Projects

In the iXR Platform, everything is organized under Projects. A Project is the main workspace where your data, configurations, and users are grouped together.

Projects are flexible and can represent different training scenarios, environments, or applications depending on your use case. For example, in a VR training program, each Project might represent a different restaurant location or kitchen setup—allowing you to separate data, settings, and users for each one.

🏢 Projects and Organizations​

  • The Organization is your top-level container (your company or team).
  • Within an Organization, you can create multiple Projects.
  • Each Project is isolated:
  • Separate end users
  • Independent data fields, settings, and configurations
  • Unique analytics and metrics
  • Distinct plugins, files, and database entries

This separation makes it easier to manage multiple environments without overlap.

📑 Project Page Layout​

The Project page provides access to all core management tools:

  • Dashboard – Monitor project activity and performance.
  • Metrics – Track usage and engagement.
  • Users – Manage end users connected to this project.
  • File Manager – Upload and organize project-specific files.
  • Remote Config – Configure remote values for client applications.
  • Database – View and manage structured project data.
  • AI Studio – Build and manage AI agents, prompts, providers, and collections.
  • Project Manager – Access control, property settings, custom features, and plugins.

🔑 Key Features of Projects​

  • Isolation – Each Project keeps its data separate.
  • Scalability – You can create as many Projects as needed.
  • Flexibility – Tailor each Project to a different environment, training module, or application focus.
  • Collaboration – Assign different members and roles to each Project.

💡 Example Use​

Imagine you’re building a VR training program:

  • One Project might represent a restaurant’s kitchen, where staff learn food preparation workflows.
  • Another Project could represent the dining area, where staff practice serving customers.
  • A third Project might focus on safety drills, with dedicated metrics and user progress tracking.

Each Project keeps its own data, configurations, and users—making it easy to run and track multiple environments in parallel.
